The Nutcracker is the first of two performance opportunities for Academy students each year.

This performance is for our Academy dancers only, and brings a youthful version of The Nutcracker to life with dancing, scenery, props and theatrics.

Learning to perform is such a valuable part of learning ballet, we hope that your ballerina will be able to join us!

*Please note: The costume piece is worn with the class leotard, please insure your ballerina’s leotard, tights and ballet shoes are in good condition.

Character Role with AFBRT (A Fairytale Ballet Repertory Theater)

AFBRT  is A Fairytale Ballet’s Academy student dance company. Company experience is gleaned outside of weekly class time through weekend rehearsals at our Lakeview Location.

Character Role Workshops

Nutcracker Character role rehearsals will require 1-1.5 hours of rehearsal time between the hours of 12-5 during only 6 of our Saturday weekend rehearsals between Oct. 12-Dec. 14. *Because we have various roles that require practicing together, your child’s scheduled 6 days & time block will be customized once all characters have been cast.

PLEASE NOTE: We will customize times to fit everyone’s schedule and will ask for your conflicting days/time upon enrollment.

*no rehearsals will be scheduled Thanksgiving weekend / SOME characters may require an additional costume piece ($25 invoiced later)
